Market Report Chicago Livestock Prices July 7
Chicago market update shows cattle and hog receipts around 15 000 to 17 000 with mixed loads uneven demand. Hog prices mostly steady to 25 cents lower on heavy loads while light weights sell around 14 25 to 14 60 per hundredweight and sows 11 50 to 12 50. Cattle see steady to lower prices with yearlings active but heavies slow, bulls and feeders steady, sheep receipts 9 12 slow with natives around 14 50 and western feeders 14 25 to 14 50 for light weights.
