The Board of Railroad Commissioners is urged by the Tower Southern Utility Company of Centerville Iowa to grant rights to construct and maintain a transmission line across public lands highways streams and private lands in Crawfordsville area Washington County Iowa Beginning at the intersection of county roads in section 15 township 14 north range 6 west the line would run southeast along a diagonal highway to the southeast corner of section 22 about half a mile in length The petition requests authority for poles wires guy wires towers cables conduits and other fixtures for lighting power and heating.
