City Council Discusses Water Mains and Rail Crossings

The city council in regular session handled remonstrances and petitions for new water mains on West Washington Gospelridge West Main and South Green streets. A light at Blair mill was opposed and the lights plan expanded to four directions. An ordinance for flagmen at Hale Blair crossings was ordered. Community notices included local tradesmen ads and a runaway farm accident with a severely injured boy and a dangerous lye incident involving Miss Lou Logue.
