Widow Mrs. W. R. Jeffrey 95, longtime Washington County resident
Mrs. W. R. Jeffrey aged 95 died Sunday afternoon at 1005 South Ave B after a period of illness. A former teacher in Clay township and Washington County schools, she taught in Brighton and Washington and was remembered for morning Scripture readings and prayers. She married William R. Jeffrey on March 39 1871 and leaves four children. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 PM at the Jeffrey home, with burial in Elm Grove Cemetery.
