Washington youth group sails to Menominee Wisconsin project
A Washington United Methodist Church group including youths and adults left on a bus to Keshena Wisconsin to work with the Menominee Indians. They will stay through July 6 repairing homes and painting, hauling lumber and paint donated for the project. The team will be housed in a former community center and traveled with a pickup and trailer, with over 700 gallons of paint and substantial lumber. The group stayed overnight at Lake Waubesa and listed participants include Don Pearl and Wilma Atkinson among others.
