Chicago July 1 market summary shows hogs mostly 15 to 250 higher with varied weights and lots. cattle receipts 6000 with steers and yearlings up 10 to 15 cents. sheep receipts 19000 with fat lambs active and steady to strong. prices span multiple weight classes and packer demand persists through late Wednesday bids.
Official livestock estimates due tomorrow list cattle at 12 000 head sheep 8 000 and hogs 2 060. Clover seed cash prices show domestic 22.00 and imported 17.50 with October 19.65 and December 15.75. Timothy seed cash 3.65 and September 4.00 with October 6.85 asked.
