Iowa Potato Goal For 1947 Reduced
Des Moines, Jan 28 Iowa's 1947 potato crop goal was cut from 6 000 acres to 27 000 acres while the national goal was trimmed to 2 517 000 acres a 152 000 acre decrease. The 375 000 000 bushels production goal remains unchanged. Farmers planting within goals will be eligible for price support and state and county goals will be set soon.
