Louis Gwinn died last evening at 5 25 at his home 935 South Avenue D after a cancerous illness. Born in Tennessee in 1849 he came to Washington in 1865 with Andy Duke. He married Eva Johnson on December 5 1888 and had six children with five living Bebie Luba Edward Amos and Mildred at home. Funeral at A M E church tomorrow at 2 PM conducted by Rev B R Penn with interment in city cemetery.
