Riverside Man’s New Auto Stolen and Wrecked

New Soviet Restrictions Hit Western Truck Traffic
Berlin reports new Soviet limits on western truck traffic entering the city while trains move normally after a six day blockade. Burglaries in Washington Net Over $100 Saturday Night
Five buildings were entered by burglars in Washington on Monday night. Mystery shooting near Riverside leaves questions unanswered
Howard Kyle an 18 year old Ames magazine subscription salesman was shot while helping to free his car from mud four miles southwest of Riverside. Kyle told Sheriff Charles Snyder a stranger with a .22 rifle offered help and may have fired but he is not certain. Investigators found no new clues and continued checking the area today.
