Iowa Tax Relief Forms Announced for Disabled and Senior Citizens
County treasurers will provide the new Two page claim forms with nine instruction pages around February 1, enabling eligible Iowa residents. The program targets those with disability or age over 65 and income up to 6000 dollars, offering up to 570 dollars in property tax relief under a 1973 Legislature act. Honor Band Festival Set by Southeast Iowa Association
The Southeast Iowa Bandmasters Association hosts its annual Honor Band Festival at the Washington junior high school this Saturday. About 250 students from more than fifty schools will audition January 12 for junior high and high school bands under Gerald Olson and Frank Piersol. A day of rehearsals ends with a 7:30 p.m. concert in the gymnasium with 50 cent student and 75 cent adult admission.

Washington County Pork Producers elect new executive board
