City Council Proceedings January 22 1973 Hearing and Ordinance Adopted
The council unanimously approved financial ordinances for water revenue bond and federal revenue sharing funds. A hearing was set for January 22 1973 at 7 30 PM in City Hall on the Final Assessment Plat and Schedule for the 1972 Street Improvements Program. A resolution ordered sewer and water system improvements on East 11th Street and extensions to the Water Works plant with a hearing date set for February 21 1973. Other actions included awarding auditing services for 1972, extending insurance coverage, reappointing Laurence Libe as City Fire Inspector, reports on 1972 fire calls, and support for a water desalination study by the Iowa Geological Survey. The session adjourned to January 22 1973 at 7 30 PM.
