Notice of Hearing and Public Bid on City Sewer and Water Extensions
The City of Washington Iowa will hold a hearing February 21 1973 at 8 00 p m in the Council Chamber to review proposed plans specifications and contract for sanitary and storm sewers and water main extensions along with bid proposals. Plans cover 1757 feet of 12 inch water main 1317 feet of 8 inch sanitary sewer 998 feet of 15 inch storm sewer and related appurtenances with five manholes six intakes and one additional manhole. Bids due by 8 00 p m February 21 1973 with bonds and corporate surety. contracts awarded at the council meeting. Plans prepared by Howard R Green Company Cedar Rapids to be examined at City Clerk or engineers offices. Copies available for 25 00 per set refundable. The notice also includes probate of Will for Ben Bruegge and appointment of Pauline Bruegge as executor with six month claim filing and one year period to challenge the will.
