Falls From Window In Hotel Leaves Man Critically Hurt
Wes ley K. Swanson, 35, of Waterloo, was critically injured after falling four floors from a window at the Ellis Hotel in Waterloo. He suffered a basal skull fracture a crushed chest and internal injuries. Swanson was visiting a room occupied by Mrs. Marie Glenz and her daughter Patricia 14 who said he stumbled and fell backward through the window striking wires before the sidewalk.

A Washington native formerly from Alexis Illinois, she moved to Carlsbad after marrying John William Lewis in 1903. Survived by three sons and sister Grace E.
