Victoria Alice Michaloski Murphy wife of Sergt William T Murphy Jr of Keokuk burned to death Monday afternoon while reportedly trying to rescue her sister from their burning Hadenville Hadenville Mass home. Red Cross notified Murphy's parents Mrs and Mrs William T Murphy. Sergeant Murphy enlisted at Chanute Field Illinois on December 22 1941 and is stationed in England.
