Carr Wins Pool Crown at Sportsman's Lounge in Small Claims Ruling

Ottumwa Eyes Hormel Plant Expansion At Morrell Site
H Sam Byrum of the Ottumwa Area Development Corp says no problems are foreseen in the Hormel Co option to buy 40 acres south of the Morrell Packing Plant. If zoning and utilities fit, Hormel plans a hog kill facility at the Old Morrell complex with possible future expansion. The site includes a sewage plant, deep wells, two buildings and a stockyard area.
