Only legislators, staff, former non lobbyist legislators, and newsmen would be allowed. special guests could gain entry with lieutenant governor permission. The move targets lobbyists who formerly mingled with lawmakers on the floor. Newsmen would sit in the press row. The panel also discussed suspending rules by vote and noted party line dynamics in the 61 member chamber with Democrats holding 32-29.

Bandit Robs Peoria Bank For 75000 In AR-14 Heist
A bandit armed with an AR 14 carbine robbed the Sheridan Village State Bank in Peoria of about 75000.
