A four engined navy patrol bomber with 12 men aboard crashed and burned today six miles southwest of Yokohama. Officials did not identify the plane type and casualties were not yet confirmed. The Navy said engine trouble likely caused the loss on a routine reconnaissance flight from Atsugi naval air station.
