Boatswain and Burglar Plan Ends In Own Buried Urgency
In a seaside village, Boatswain George Benn plots a burglary ruse to win the widow Mrs. Waters and marry her. He enlists Ned Travers to pretend a burglar, but the plan spirals when Mrs. Waters shoots a dummy burglar, then buries the pretend intruder in the garden. Travers later reveals the prank and continues to work beside Waters as they manage the fallout.
