Unusual Iowa City Police Dogs Parade with Ice Harvest Notes
In Iowa City a stylish young man led three well trained police dogs without leashes through streets. The piece describes ice harvesting procedures on the Iowa River, including ice saws, packing sheds, and a dangerous edge near a river, plus local radio music picks from WFAA Dallas and WOS Jefferson City. It also mentions C F Hasty’s travels, Rhinehardt Bros sales visits, and Grace Schermerhoffs death in New York.
