Seven Washington musicians were picked Saturday for the Southeast Iowa Honor Band. The group will perform a concert January 24 with Junior High selections Dave Hillman trumpet Beth McCurdy bassoon and Alan Van Houten drums and High School selections Jim Dayton trombone Linda Bash alto sax Matt Hotle trumpet and Greg Thomas clarinet. Petit jurors summoned to the courthouse in Washington are excused from duty until further notice after the Tuesday jury trial was canceled.
