Austrian Boy Recovers After Serum Treatment
Eight year old Gottfried Eder of Innsbruck was in excellent condition after a life saving serum from the United States. Doctors said he had his first normal night since bleeding began January 2. He suffers from hemophilia and was saved by a single injection of anti hemophilic globulin. The serum came from Michigan and was flown to Germany then delivered to Innsbruck by jeep over snow clogged roads.
