Keokuk Man Named To Head Southeast Iowa Census
William F Bunch a 63 year old Keokuk businessman was named District Supervisor for the 1960 population census by Congressman Fred Schwengel. He will start January 15 in a 12 county area with training in Kansas City before opening a Davenport district office. Bunch will recruit 23 crew leaders and about 379 enumerators for the nose counting, with training in March and census taking beginning April 1. In Washington County one crew leader and 18 enumerators will supervise the count.
