Biennial Woodmen Convention Sets 1909 Date in Washington
Woodmen of the county held a biennial convention with 21 delegates from Brigh ton Ainsworth Crawfordsville Riverside Kalona West Chester Well man Washington. M J Eadicott of Brighton was named chairman and J A Maresh of Ainsworth secretary. Delegates chosen for the state convention include John C Little Washington and M Moriarity RK McGahey Ainsworth Dr Sheafe Riverside. The next convention will be in Washington January 10 1909.

Death of Mrs Annie Mary Swift in Denver
Mrs Jank Swift received a telegram reporting the death of Annie Mary Swift mother of F K Swift in Denver yesterday. She was over 75, lived there with a daughter for 25 years, formerly near Riverside, mother of twelve children ten surviving. Husband died six years ago. Frank Swift is in New Jersey and unlikely to attend the funeral.
