Jacob Boese Dies at Wayland After Illness
Jacob Boese aged 75 died this morning at about eight oclock at his Wayland home after a period of illness. Funeral plans are not yet set. He belonged to the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and will likely be buried there. The family lived southwest of Wayland until moving to town about 18 months ago. Mrs Leese formerly Miss Mary Roth survives with six children all residing in the community: Albert and Sam Boese, Mrs Joe Kauffman, Mrs Louie Kauffman, Mrs John Imhoff, and Mrs Chris Hertig.
