Approval of Ames municipal airport plans pending construction
The Civil Aeronautics Authority has approved the final plans for the $140,000 Ames municipal airport. Construction will start in spring with two cross shaped runways of 3,800 feet each. Contracts for the project will be let in late February officials said.

Two Cars Damaged In Crash Near City Limits
George Canott of Ainsworth and Kenneth Probst of Keota driven cars collided yesterday afternoon near Highway 2 and Brighter Road just inside city limits.
