Johnsons Host Spurgeon Store Force Holiday Party
Mr and Mrs Harold Johnson hosted about thirty Spurgeon store employees and guests at a Y M C A community room holiday dinner. The seven o clock meal featured a Ferns bakery Christmas house centerpiece, green and white colors, and mini green bell place favors. Music played on a record machine followed by a gift exchange and a grab bag, then bingo with wearable prizes worn immediately.

Annual Church Congregation Dinner Held at United Presbyterian
About 200 attended the annual church dinner at United Presbyterian Church on Saturday noon. Mrs. Jay Brewer chaired the cooperative dinner committee with Mrs. Bruce Lipscomb as co chair. Candles and evergreen decorated tables. Dr. George Kerr offered the blessing. The Winga boys performed a clarinet trio after dinner before the congregation meeting.

Mrs Dawson Installed as W R C President at Legion Hall
Mrs R J Dawson was installed as president of the I G White Woman's Relief corps at the Legion hall on Saturday afternoon.
