Springfield Feb 26 The apportionment question for both senatorial and congressional seats is expected to be settled this week. Butte Montana February 26 Calamity Jane a friend of Buffalo Bill and participant in early Indian campaigns has been admitted to the Gal latin county poorhouse. She is a relic of frontier life known to many of the old fighters and frontiersmen from General Miles to Vice President Roosevelt.
Mrs. Mary Menz keeper of a boarding house reported three men entered her home on Saturday assaulted knocked her down and rummaged through belongings but did not locate cash. Several articles were stolen from the house.
