Beemblossom Murder Follows Farmyard Quarrel
J C Woodson surrenders after shooting Z E Beemblossom in a dispute over a grindstone and a Brindstone valued at fifteen cents. Woodson says Beemblossom struck his son during a farm incident, prompting the self defense claim. The coroner rules a pistol wound killed Beemblossom. Woodson and son are jailed. Beemblossom leaves a career as a detective and farmer with two children and a history of anti crime work.
