Mary Moreland Kline dies after long illness on Jefferson St
Mrs. Mary Moreland Kline, wife of Levi Kline, died at their Jefferson Street home after a nearly three year illness. A buggy accident years earlier may have caused internal trouble leading to her death. Born October 25 1846 in Brighton, she married Levi Kline in Muscatine in 1863 and they had seven children, with five surviving: Lew, Martin, Levi, Rose and Raymond. Funeral was at St James Church, interment in the cemetery.
