Washington council approves 1.4 million budget for 1976 77
The Washington City Council preliminarily approves a 1.4 million dollar budget for 1976 77 amid protests over police manpower cuts. A public hearing is set for March 8 at 7 30 p m. The plan calls for seven policemen and includes 103 857 for police. Additional funds come from road use taxes liquor profits and federal revenue sharing.
