Jury for Hickman second trial to be chosen today
In Los Angeles on February 20 a jury for William Edward Hickman and Welby Hunt for the Christmas Eve killing of Ivy Toms, the druggist, was nearing completion. Dr S A Matthews of Chicago died suddenly after two weeks illness. He taught physiology and hygiene at Loyola University School of Medicine for ten years and held several academic roles.
