School Superintendent M. ol Schell said about 25 rural grade teachers will attend a 3 30 p m Monday gathering in the high school auditorium. Mrs Billie Davis author of It was a Hobo Kid will speak. Fire destroys Indianola locker plant and meat warehouse

A large fire in Indianola destroyed two wooden business buildings and 200 000 to 300 000 pounds of meat stored at the Warren County Implement Co locker plant. Sheriff John Taylor quoted damage at 100 000 dollars. the blaze began about 2 30 a.m. and was controlled by 3 45 a.m. Fire crews from Winterset Osceola and Bloomfield Township aided Indianola firefighters along with nearby properties saved. The meat plant owned by Pearl Miner was a total loss.

Dr. R. D. Temple Dies At Home In California

Dr. R. D. Temple, a former Iowa dentist who moved to Anaheim California in 1929, died at his home after a heart attack. Funeral services are set for Friday.
