Car Hits Light Pole Injuring One At City Corner
A vehicle driven by Homer Dean Cannon skidded into a city light pole at the corner of North Fifth avenue and East Seventh street on Sunday at 3 45 in the afternoon. The car was badly damaged and a passenger Elmer Bruegge suffered facial cuts and bruises treated at Washington county hospital. Two other passengers Duayne Miller and Richard Moothart were unhurt.

Fire at Breda cistern after thawing pump sparks blaze
