Elmer Fred Schroeder 30 of Fairbank Iowa was charged by the FBI and Rock Island railroad agents with sabotage tied to a derailing attempt. He waived preliminary hearing before U S Commissioner R L Whelan and is held on 2500 dollars bond. Agents Fagan and Wevin arrested him on Monday near a Rock Island line south of Cedar Rapids claiming he left a rail anchor after anger with a Cedar Rapids ticket agent.

Induction at Camp Dodge Includes One-Eyed Men for Limited Duty
