Five bandits blew open the Farmers & Manufacturers bank in Rich Hill Missouri early this morning wrecking the building and terrorizing residents. They escaped with twenty three thousand dollars in cash in what authorities call one of Missouri history's boldest robberies.
An attempted mass killing at the Santa Rosa mine in Sonora twenty miles south of Douglas involved Mexican workers who detonated dynamite under a boarding house. Fifteen American miners were injured with broken legs and arms but no fatalities were reported.
