A Chicago Milwaukee & St Paul passenger train crashed through a bridge near Lebourne early today. Five killed and many injured with more bodies feared in wreckage. Conductor Robert Marsh and an unknown mail clerk bodies recovered and identified. In Marshalltown, Conductor Bargdel and Brakeman Penn of Oskaloosa died in a rear end freight collision near New Sharon.
Reports from St. Petersburg indicate worsening strike conditions in Poland and the Caucasus with casualties in Radom Skarzysko and Kutno. Rail traffic disrupted and a central committee proclamation urges mass action under the red flag. In Finland an assassin’s identity is confirmed, and in Bay City a shipyard fatality occurs.
William Kranz president of the Racine Business Men's association, marries Miss Florence Cass of Chicago. Rev. Arthur Piper officiates at St Luke's Episcopal Church. Kranz was previously burned in the Iroquois fire and his first wife died in that blaze. he spent months in a Chicago hospital with his niece and her mother nursing him.
Mrs. John W. Timmons, daughter of Vice President Fairbanks, who had been unable to walk for two years after a dance fall, was cured by bone setter Reese. Reese abandoned mill work fifteen years ago to pursue bone setting after his healing power became apparent.

Kalamazoo Michigan report states H. H. Lewis, a papermaker, suffered a frozen toe five years ago that never healed. Gangrene forced the amputation of his left leg at the knee.
Governor Higgins signs the Illinois extradition request for Johann Hoch the alleged bigamist held in New York City. Hoch faces removal to Illinois where charges are pending.

In Duluth on a February night a 22 year old salesgirl Miss Anna Dunleavy died after a crowd of youths riding a bedsled crashed into a telephone pole. A rope slipping under a runner caused the sled to veer and gain speed leading to the fatal impact. Her parents in West Duluth were notified.
United States Marshal Henkel announced that William B Masterson known as Bat Masterson will soon be appointed a deputy United States marshal for the district at the solicitation of President Roosevelt, who has long been a personal friend and admirer of the former Kansas marshal and sheriff.
Manuel Rego postmaster of Koloa Kauai was arrested on embezzlement charges totaling 27077 dollars. He appeared before a United States Commissioner and was committed for trial at the April term of the federal court. Rego admitted taking the funds and using them in private business ventures.
