Howard White 73 died early this morning at University hospital Iowa City after a sudden heart attack. He had just undergone surgery and was recovering when the attack struck. Survived by wife Cora B. The third Army Navy college qualifying test for the specialized training and navy programs will be given nationwide on Wednesday March 15 at 9 00 A M at Washington High School. An information leaflet with an admission form is available at the high school. Applicants aged 17 to 21 who are graduates or will graduate by July 1 1944 may take the test. Intent to take the test should be reported to Supt W A Erbe. The exam assesses aptitude and general knowledge for college training with government expense under both programs. Taking the test does not obligate enlistment and successful completion can lead to navy officer training.
