Man Dies Here Put Off Train
Jacob Tammengar of Muscatine died in Washington county hospital late last night from overexposure. He was found weak in a snowbank beside a west bound freight line after being put off the train about one quarter mile east of Washington by Milwaukee rail workers. Relatives from Muscatine arrived and said he had been working in Nahant yard, Illinois, near Rock Island, and likely climbed into the car there. Dr. W S Kyle, county coroner, awaited word from Muscatine relatives before deciding on an inquest.
