Indefinite postponement of a bill proposing repeal of the $600 legislative expense set was recommended to the senate today after the bill was reported out of committee. The bill, introduced by Senator Stoddard of Woodbury, was linked to prior assembly envy contrasts over $800 expense money for each legislature.

Cornell ius Vanderbilt Jr confirms a 1926 meeting with Benito Mussolini inspired Major General Smedley Butler's assertion about a killed child and a fleeing car. The letter, shown to United Press, places Vanderbilt as Butler's source while noting no direct quotation from the letter is allowed.

He explained the bill would force the Red Cross to relieve unemployment nationwide, a separate task from disaster relief. The Red Cross, a 57 nation league, began amid drought relief efforts.
