Funeral services for George R Amlong will be held Friday at 2 PM at Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Burial in Richmond Cemetery. He died in Alexandria Virginia at his son’s home at age 92 after two months of illness. He was born in Lone Tree Iowa in 1857 and married in Richmond Iowa.
