Intruders Set Fires in Washington Warehouse
Two people are being sought after fires were set overnight in the 600 block of East Third Street Washington at the old calendar factory. Firefighters battled a shaft top blaze in the elevator motor room. A second fire on the first floor was discovered by workers from Wood Construction Inc. Evidence points to arson with mattresses cushions gas cans and paraphernalia found at both fires. Sheriff Yale Jarvis urges witnesses to contact his office and says the state fire marshal is aiding the investigation.
