Death at Keota: Enoch Winter dies after long illness
Enoch Winter dies at his South Washington home at eleven this morning after a lengthy invalid condition. Born near Cumberland Maryland he moved to Iowa in 1864 and settled in Washington county. He married Ida Hollingsworth in 1885 and leaves five children four living Charles J Ruth Carrie and Fannie. Funeral 10:30 tomorrow at St James Catholic church with burial at Elm Grove beside his wife. Views allowed at the residence at ten tomorrow before processional to church. Father Grothe of Harper to conduct services.
