Eddie Morrison son of Mr and Mrs KE D Morrison Jr lost the first joint of a toe on his left foot Monday afternoon in a hunting accident. He was rabbit hunting with Bruce Lemmon when the boys exchanged guns and he thought the gun was on safety. He slipped on a rock and the gun discharged. Eddie, an Evening Journal carrier, could not complete his rounds Monday evening.

She lived in California 15 years after working as a beauty operator and cafe owner in Atlantic. Survivors include sister Mia and Fred Grosscup of Washington and several nieces and nephews. a brother Frank died three years ago.

Daniel J. Cline 71 of 308 West Monroe street died Monday December 24 after an eight day illness. Funeral services are set for Friday at 2 p.m. at Jones funeral home with Dr Reed officiating and burial at Grove Connectors. Cline born January 2 1884 in Mt Clinton Va was a son of John K F Cline and Doreas Shoemaker. He lived in the area most of his life and worked as a custodian at the YMCA since returning to Washington in 1950. Survivors include his wife one son Wayne of Washington one daughter Mir(o) Alonzo Collins of Iowa City one grandson Frankie Collins and brothers Charles Spirit Lake Iowa and Jessie Mt. Crawford Va. Six brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
