Washington December 21 A bill to limit campaign expenditures of presidential and congressional candidates and to bar corporate contributions to elections was submitted to the Senate in the committee’s final report. Chairman Nye said the measure aims to fix defects in existing law that supposedly limits spending but leaves it practically unregulated.

Bandit Shot and Captured After Keyesport Bank Robbery

She was born Ida May Brown in Washington county July 21 1866 and later married William J Taylor on Sept 4 1888. Richard B. Henderson known as Dick of Winfield died Sunday forenoon at his son’s home in Wyman. He was 70. He leaves two sons James H. Henderson of Wyman and Tracy Henderson, a daughter Mrs. Mabel Meyers of Missouri, six grandchildren, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews. A blacksmith by trade, he later worked in Cotter and in partnership with W. T. Trotter. He belonged to the Winfield Methodist church. Funeral Tuesday at 1 20 p.m. at his Winfield home.
