Seriously Injured In a Runaway Near B and N W Track
Will Vinton, wagon driver for Hises creamery and poultry house, was seriously injured last evening while unloading poultry from a car on the B N W track. His left leg bore multiple fractures below the knee after being thrown when four horses bolted. He was taken to J Kanouse's home, Dr Jenkins setting the broken bones. He also suffered a scalp wound, a dislocated finger, and bruises. The A O U W plans to provide daily care until recovery, and horses were later found two blocks away after breaking a tongue on a stump.
