In Justice Court Will Downs pleaded guilty to petty larceny in the office of Justice J E Bover and was fined 20 dollars plus costs for stealing a purse from Mrs Lee Ralston of Winfield in a Washington place business. The purse money was recovered. Justice Royee fined Harry Jirsa of Kalona three dollars for leaving the scene of an accident without aiding or reporting, and revoked two sections of his automobile driver's license.
