Iowa toll climbs to 741 in traffic fatalities
A Nashua man and an Elkart woman were among deaths in recent traffic incidents. Carl Krueger, 80, died and George Fiene, 82, was critically injured when their Nashua car hit an Illinois Central train at a Plainfield crossing. Celeeste Amelia Huxford, 28, was killed north of U S 69 in a car truck crash. William Klein, 61, of Eddyville, died of a heart attack, not crash injuries.
