Mrs. Joan Van Sant died at 11 p.m. Wednesday at Washington County Hospital after four weeks as a patient. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Cottonwood Church west of Wayland with burial in the local cemetery. She was born February 2, 1803, to David and Margaret Neff and married John Van Sant on December 25, 1912. Survivors include her husband, one son Arlis of Coppock, three grandchildren, four brothers, one sister, and several died in infancy relatives.
