Montgomery Ward Store Remodel Starts on Dewey-Yarnell Building
Work began today at noon to remodel the Dewey-Yarnell building on the south square for a Montgomery Ward and Company store to open next spring. Charles Redman of Central Construction of Ottawa is contractor with Clyde A. Pickett as general superintendent. The building will be two stories with basement, 47.6 by 120 feet, and is slated for completion in about 45 days if weather allows.
