Jersey cattle dealer thwarted train shooting mystery
R B McFarland who imported Jersey cattle from Delhi New York rode a freight with stock to Gallion Ohio. Two tramps boarded the train and one shot the brakeman before McFarland could act. The brakeman died in McFarland’s arms. Suspects are in custody in Chicago and McFarland plans to travel to identify them.
